Official institutional policy
01
Assessment plan
At the beginning of a course, students receive the assessed activities, their weights or points, due dates, submission rules and criteria. The instructor may use essays, examinations, oral work, projects, discussion, research or other methods aligned with the stated learning outcomes.
A material change after the course begins must have an academic reason, be communicated to all affected students and preserve a fair opportunity to complete the work. The instructor cannot reduce a student's result for a criterion that was not part of the published assessment or applicable conduct rules.
02
Calculation and finalization
The official gradebook calculates the final result from recorded items and the applicable grading scale. Only authorized academic staff may finalize a result. A final grade becomes part of the authoritative academic record when it is submitted and finalized through the gradebook workflow.
03
Review and grade changes
A student may request review within ten calendar days of publication by identifying a calculation, transcription or application-of-criteria error. Academic judgment is reviewed only for arbitrariness, bias or departure from the published criteria. After finalization, every change requires a recorded reason, requester, approver and audit trail; the original result remains historically traceable.
